I loved this surprise restaurant from my husband for our wedding anniversary. It was an exceptional romantic meal. The setting was lovely, the Italian music was delightful, and the dishes we chose were delicious. A thoughtful touch was a lovely addition.
Thank you so much, we will definitely be back.

Our first time visiting La Scala.
Restaurant is authentically decorated and position on riverside with view from terrace was lovely. However the food was nothing special. We found a lack a flavour all round. The profiteroles for desert were more like bread/scones than shoe pastry and really rather tough.
The staff too seemed preoccupied- we had to ask for water to be brought to table, pepper grinder & wine which usually would all be offered as standard!
Overall disappointed with our meal which was for a birthday treat.

Although we arrived late for our reservation, the waitress took our order almost immediately. The wait between courses was very reasonable considering the number of customers (the terrace was full). Besides, on Sundays, people usually take their time, whether at a restaurant or at home, while the grumpy ones simply move on. We all ordered different dishes, from appetizers to main courses and desserts, and there was nothing to complain about. A special mention goes to the octopus, tender inside and crispy outside. The chef clearly mastered its cooking. And the Cognac crème brûlée was a delight, a light and refreshing treat after a hearty meal.

Great experience at La Scala, fast service, welcoming and very friendly staff.
The pizzas are excellent, very good value for money.
A bonus for the decor, a real immersion in Italy!

We came this Sunday, September 27th, to try out this restaurant.
The atmosphere is really pleasant, and the servers are very welcoming and attentive.
As for the food, it was excellent: quality ingredients, carefully prepared dishes, and above all, very good value for money.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
