The products are fresh, homemade and served generously with the added bonus of smiles from the entire restaurant team.

New, clean and good facilities.
Super comfortable bed and quiet room.
Friendly staff and very good hotel restaurant
To give it a drawback, it does not have parking and the hotel is on a pedestrian street
There are two public and uncovered car parks nearby that have 1 hour free (you have to get a ticket) and then they have a ticket for €8 all day.
28/02/2024: Great friendly welcoming hotel in the centre of cognac town. Tsiory who greeted us on arrival couldn’t have been more helpful, offering to ring a cognac house that we wanted to visit but hadn’t booked to see if we could go tasting. Rooms fresh and clean with plenty of room for storage. Good size bathroom and bottled water in the room very welcome. We also ate at the restaurant and particularly enjoyed the exquisitely cooked scallops starter. All courses well presented and delicious. Staff in the restaurant friendly if a little inexperienced. We would certainly recommend this hotel and will stay here again. No parking available here, but some public parking behind the hotel at a short distance

Superb stay unfortunately one night in a very pretty green setting.
I appreciated everything, from the arrival and making contact with the very friendly staff, to the overnight stay in the pretty cabin facing the Charente.... to be repeated for sure

23/03/2024: The setting is very pleasant on the banks of the Charente. The menu is pleasant and original and everything is made on site with as many local products as possible. The dishes are relatively inventive. The cuisine is excellent. The service needs to be improved because it is approximate and slow. When we report it we respond in an inappropriate tone. The frame is very nice.

03/03/2024: Not great at all, the boss talks a lot, and she is very bad at speaking.
03/03/2024: I visited the cafe with the hope of enjoying a good cup of coffee, given their reputation as a “torréfacteur” and the high review score. Unfortunately, I was sorely disappointed. The flat white I ordered was the worst I've ever had, surpassing even those from vending machines. A red flag was raised when I was asked if I wanted a small or large – not a great start.
The drink was disappointingly "water-y," with the milk foam resembling more of a cafe au lait than a proper flat white. The milk was steamed excessively hot - boiled?, forcing me to wait several minutes before being able to take a sip. I can't comment on the coffee itself since I couldn't bring myself to finish the drink.
The most alarming aspect was the waiter's neglect in cleaning the steam wand after frothing the milk.
While the interior didn’t suit my taste, it might appeal to others.
