On Hospital Boulevard, you'll be welcomed by Mr. Shandong. You'll watch his team prepare their famous dumplings right before your eyes. I highly recommend the grilled vegetable dumplings. The stir-fried noodles are excellent, and the fried rice is incredible. A real treat for your taste buds. And at a very reasonable price. The service is unpretentious and unpretentious. Very mixed feelings… The ravioli were okay. The sesame noodles, on the other hand, were very good. But there was a real problem with the service. We went as a couple: a 30-minute wait between courses. Not very cool not being able to eat at the same time. On top of that, the welcome wasn't very warm.

18/02/2026: A fantastic experience and such lovely service! Since I can't eat much, they were very attentive and helped me choose my dishes. It was a wonderful and authentic experience right across from our accommodation. A real hidden gem with genuine Chinese food!

Definitely a hidden gem, as it's somewhat tucked away, yet still in a prime location near the Place de la République. It's not just a restaurant visit, but a journey back in time. Here, you can enjoy a wide selection of superbly seasoned dishes at fair prices, all served with very friendly service, in a 70s/80s atmosphere. It's highly desirable that the interior and facade remain unchanged in the future, allowing this little time capsule to stay exactly as it has been since 1975.

04/02/2026: The boiled pork was a bit salty. The rice wasn't fresh. The food wasn't served very quickly. The shredded pork with garlic sauce was quite delicious.

Huge portions, authentic flavors (Yu Xiang eggplant, mapo tofu, beef in chili water…), and fantastic value for money. A really cool bonus: karaoke rooms available for private parties with friends.
