Lunch at the Lion d'Or in Candé-sur-Beuvron — June 5, 2025 A lunch as perfect as ever. For starters, we had the roasted langoustines and the foie gras escalope. For the main course, we had perfectly executed sweetbreads, tender and flavorful. Jérôme Lechat's cuisine remains remarkably consistent and beautifully refined. Laurent Morin provided smooth, professional, and attentive service. A reliable and consistent address, which I highly recommend.

04/01/2026: We had a wonderful experience at this establishment, both for the comfort and for the warm welcome and kindness of the staff. Special mention goes to the restaurant, where we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
01/01/2026: A real gem! The Auberge de la Caillère is a very welcoming hotel where you feel at home from the moment you arrive. We had booked a "comfort room with terrace," which was spacious and very pleasant. The Auberge de la Caillère is very well located, near many castles (including the Château de Chaumont-sur-Loire, which is a true jewel). We dined at the hotel restaurant; the dining room is magnificent, the dishes were sophisticated, refined, and delicious! And the service was impeccable. Special mention goes to the very generous breakfast, with delicious products, all served in a room full of character and charm. We will definitely be back!
