We didn't get to try the beautiful pastries; we settled down to have tea, coffee, and pastries and waited for the staff to finish their conversation, which lasted a good eight minutes. I flagged down an employee to take my order, and she asked me if I was in a hurry because she hadn't finished her conversation (there were three employees). We left just to help their employer!

Among the best pastry shops and tea rooms in La Rochelle. All the classics are perfectly executed. The yuzu cheesecake and the citrus supreme tartlet are incredible ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Special mention goes to the fruit jellies, which are sublime!

The D'jolly tea room and pastry shop is exceptionally high quality. The pastries are as beautiful as they are delicious, with refined and perfectly balanced flavors. You can taste the expertise and passion in every creation.
The service is simply perfect: kindness, smiles, and attentiveness are always present. You immediately feel at ease in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit for lovers of sweets and indulgent moments. I highly recommend it!

I was very disappointed with the chocolate and raspberry cake. The raspberries inside were still frozen.
The chestnut cake didn't taste like chestnut at all! Instead, it tasted like alcohol...
Plus, the chocolate bags weren't even priced in the shop!
In short, I won't be going back 😂

The croque-monsieur was good. The pastries were very pretty; my companions really enjoyed theirs, although mine (the Paris-Brest) was a little bland. The waitress was very friendly.
