Domaine de la Blairie sur Saint-Martin-De-La-Place

Great hotel with attentive staff, pretty park, with a nice little swimming pool. Very cute old chapel. We got the story of this hotel from the room manager, and we really appreciated thanking her, who was lovely. The room was very large we had a room with a second bed for our teenager. The bed is a foldable one, not great though, we would have appreciated a real bed for him. Fan in the bedroom. On the other hand, no kettle with tea and coffee, that was a bit lacking. Well located near Saumur. Very complete breakfast at 12 euros.

We stopped there during a cycling trip along the Loire. I recommend without reservation.

Hotel with history, very friendly with very pleasant staff...

Lack of smile at reception. Problem encountered with a TV that was not working but no solutions proposed. We were even told that the problem occurred regularly but that they had no solutions. For a room called “with TV” we found ourselves without. Expensive breakfast considering what is offered. Air conditioning at an additional cost, given the high temperatures of recent days, it would have been common sense to include them in the reservation at no extra cost. Is there an extra charge for heating in winter? Small nice terrace but no privacy.

Domaine de la Brairie located in a village on the bank of the Loire, 8 km from Saumur, ideal for bike rides.
