Domaine de la Blairie sur Saint-Martin-De-La-Place

The property isn't the newest, but at the end of the entire holiday, it was where we slept best. The beds were super comfortable, the air conditioning wasn't too noisy, and the usual French breakfast was good. Regarding the old comments, perhaps they've changed management... but we had a great time.

We appreciated the staff's kindness and helpfulness, as well as the quality of the meals. The facilities were also excellent: their upkeep, accessibility, and the variety of spaces (wooded park, swimming pool, games rooms, library, etc.). One small drawback, however: why isn't a soft drink other than a carafe of wine offered with half-board? Those who don't drink alcohol would appreciate an alternative such as sparkling water or a cordial (for children). Kudos to the chef for the variety of dishes.

Overall, everything went well except for the very limited quality and choice of food.

The staff were welcoming, warm, and attentive. During our week-long family stay with our five children, we were pampered from beginning to end. The food is homemade, using quality ingredients. Each meal offers a meat or fish dish, as well as two options for children's menus. The setting is calm and peaceful, with a lovely swimming pool. A games room, suitable for all ages, is available with a foosball table and a ping-pong table. Just a two-minute walk away, a multi-sports pitch delighted our avid football fans. We also enjoyed some beautiful bike rides and visited the museum and the castle. Every evening, we appreciated the friendly atmosphere of the riverside café on the banks of the Loire, located just a five-minute walk from the hotel. A real bonus that made our evenings even more enjoyable. We didn't have time to discover everything, so we will gladly return. We recommend this establishment without hesitation!

The property is perfectly located for exploring and visiting a multitude of sites. The accommodations are spread throughout a small, shaded park, with several seating areas for privacy and enjoying the welcome peace and quiet. The only downside: the lack of air conditioning during this heatwave… A perfect stay that makes you want to come back!

Loire Riverside Inn. The most striking feature is the large chapel nestled in the heart of the complex. A swimming pool offers a place to relax. The courtyard, accessed via the porch, is easier to approach from the embankment than from below; you have to turn quite sharply. This same courtyard isn't very welcoming; you wonder if it's really the entrance or if it's the staff parking lot. The reception area smells clean, but perhaps a little too much like industrial chemical cleanliness.

Charming setting. Pleasant garden and pool. The room could use a little freshening up, but it's clean and welcoming. The bedding could also use replacing. However, the welcome was excellent. The receptionist was friendly and attentive.

A very pleasant and peaceful setting. Everything was perfect. The staff are exceptionally friendly. Kudos to the chef for his delicious and varied meals – a true delight! The rooms are a bit dated and could use a little updating. Nevertheless, the beds were very comfortable. We had an excellent stay. Well done to the whole team!
