Domaine de la Jeanne sur Les Vans

We had a great week and the owners are very friendly. We had some lovely evenings enjoying meals together with the other holidaymakers, especially since the food was very good.

Before our trip, I checked the reviews... and upon arrival, we could only confirm what previous guests had said... Sandrine, Xavier, and Thibault go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome. The welcome drinks (or rather, tastings of excellent homemade beverages made from local products), and the meals prepared by Sandrine at the communal table are a pure delight, all in a very convivial atmosphere. We were pleased to discover that several guests were regulars, which is easy to see why... A stay to be had, or repeated, without hesitation.

We had a wonderful week at Domaine de la Jeanne! Sandrine, Xavier, and Thomas gave us a fantastic welcome. The Domaine is superb. Our accommodation was very pleasant with a large shaded terrace and a garden for our dog... swimming pool, advice on swimming and hiking. The meals were excellent and generous, just like the owners. The location in Les Vans is ideal for enjoying the lively summer atmosphere, shops, and being able to cool off in the nearby Chassezac river. We highly recommend it! We look forward to returning if we go back to the Ardèche.

The welcome was fantastic, the meals were simply excellent, and the cottages are superb with lovely terraces perfect for relaxing. I recommend it 200%.

As they say, third time's the charm! This year we're happily returning to this magnificent place. Xavier, with his delightful accent, and Sandrine, so attentive and always ready to cater to our every need, create a wonderfully friendly and welcoming atmosphere among all the guests. We came as a family with my parents, who have been coming for three years now, and we weren't disappointed! The region is magnificent, and Domaine de la Jeanne blends perfectly into the landscape. The accommodations are lovely, well integrated into the surroundings, with very little overlooking, and cool even during periods of intense heat. What impressed us most was the authentic and welcoming atmosphere, not to mention the delicious meals served at the communal table 🥰 A huge thank you for this stay!! Ava & Pierre

Hello, we first met Xavier, the owner, at the holiday fair in Liège, and that's where our wonderful adventure began. Their warm welcome and friendliness immediately charmed us, and we booked for 10 days at the beginning of June. What a magnificent holiday! Once there, we met the rest of the family: Sandrine, Cavier's wife, our chef, who delighted us morning and evening with homemade dishes, including an aperitif, starter, main course, dessert, and wine each evening. We enjoyed ourselves every single day. Thomas, the son, takes care of maintaining the entire property, helps out with desserts when needed, and serves meals alongside his father. And Xavier, the father, is always there to advise us on what to see and do in the area, tell us stories and jokes, prepare and set the tables, and of course, lend a hand to Sandrine. The location is splendid, the cottages are comfortable, well-spaced, and well-insulated against the heat, and the grounds are lush, welcoming, and peaceful. Let's not forget the magnificent, well-equipped swimming pool. We wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful and relaxing place with owners who quickly become friends. We can't wait to come back next year to see you again with great pleasure. Thank you again for a wonderful and successful holiday.

Domaine de la Jeanne is a magical, magnificent, and exceptional place where my family and I spent a few days. The cottages are modern and welcoming, and we had a wonderful time, both children and adults. The welcome from Sandrine and Xavier was truly warm, and the meals were excellent, made with local produce. All this in a stunning natural setting and a region with so much to see and do 👍.
