31/05/2026: Pleasant view of the Aven River. A restaurant we used to like. Not sure we'll go back. There was one time when the salmon crêpe surprised us: a dry crêpe with a slice of salmon on top. We'd never seen anything like it: no sauce, no herbs, no cream, no salted whipped cream, nothing. We told ourselves, we won't order it again. And generally, we were satisfied. Today was the last straw: brush hairs in a crêpe, and despite a waitress telling us she'd let the kitchen know, we had another 5 cm hair in a crêpe for dessert. Pont-Aven is so crowded that this crêperie will always have customers. Perhaps they don't need to make too much of an effort. I ordered the seafood casserole, but it was really bad: the sauce was watery and tasteless, the potatoes were reheated (unbelievable and inedible), and the seafood was bland, definitely overcooked. My daughter had the salmon salad: the avocado was unripe and so hard! It's unthinkable that they would serve a customer an avocado they couldn't even cut. The crepes were very sparsely filled, leaving us wanting more.
