A monument not to be missed under any circumstances for anyone visiting the city.

Beautiful medieval gate in the city center of rennes with well preserved architecture.

Nice, well-laid-out passageway, great spot for a restaurant with a terrace.

Magnificent witnesses to the past, just contemplating them makes you feel transported to another era.

It is the only remaining trace of the fortifications, but it is superbly preserved.

Arriving from the cathedral, you wouldn't suspect a thing. But what a shame it would be to miss this view!

Strolling through the historic center of Rennes, you can find these gates in the old town, providing access through the ramparts. They are beautifully restored, and the entire area is now very popular, with restaurants, terraces, and a lively atmosphere, as well as stunning stonework. All of this is near the cathedral and highly recommended.
