Douce Quietude sur Saint-Raphael

Hello We were a group of six couples (with children) who had rented bungalows. We paid an extra €50 to be placed next to each other. When we arrived, the first problem was that our bungalows weren't next to each other. They were on the same path, but spaced apart. One of the bungalows was even two paths away! The second problem: for three nights at the campsite, we were stopped every evening by security guards who asked us to turn down or even stop the music. The first night at midnight, the second at 11 pm, and the last at 9:30 pm! The response was, "You're at Douce Quiétude!" Despite our large group, we had given the impression of turning down the music, and yet… The third problem: the bungalows are old, the heaters are rusty, and the walls are damaged in places. There was no crockery or TV. On the plus side: the water park is very pleasant; the water is very warm (around 31 degrees Celsius), there are two water slides and three different pools. The children's play area is great. There are pétanque courts and a paddle tennis court (rental €10/person for 1 hour). Unfortunately, we, who go away every year with friends, will not be coming back to this campsite because the slightest noise is disturbing, even at 9:30 pm on a Saturday night. Have a good evening.

A beautiful campsite in a very wooded setting, brand new bungalows, a lovely water park, plenty of activities, and above all, fantastic staff. I highly recommend it for a great getaway.

A beautiful and neatly laid-out campsite. The water during the May holidays is 32 degrees, which is great for the May break. Plenty of entertainment. Supermarket available with friendly staff. Café bar is also good.

Slightly disappointed at the bar at 4:30 pm. The poor waiter was all alone taking orders, preparing and serving, and doing the dishes. Unbelievable guy, what a shame.

Disappointed. We stayed for a week in April. The mobile home was okay, nothing special. The sofa was uncomfortable and too small for six people. The plates, glasses, and cutlery were not up to 5-star standards. I've stayed in much better elsewhere for less or the same price. Parking at our pitch was a nightmare. The road is in terrible condition. The swimming pool was a highlight. The staff were friendly but not yet fully operational, probably because it's the start of the season. Another positive point, and the reason we chose Sandaya, is that they accept our two dogs. In short, we tried it, but we're not sure we'll return to this campsite.

Our stay at this campsite was wonderful. A major plus is the private bathroom at each pitch. Unfortunately, our booked pitches were too small upon arrival, but the incredibly helpful and friendly staff were able to easily rebook/move us to other pitches – all without any hassle. The pool took some getting used to, as only bare feet are allowed, which was unusual for us. They were also quite strict regarding food and drink, but ultimately understandable. The location is lovely, though a bit outside the town center. A real highlight was seeing the wild boars at night – quite an experience! This has certainly helped keep the campsite very clean ;-) Highly recommended, especially considering the high prices in the surrounding area of ​​the Côte d'Azur.

A very large campsite with many attractions. The swimming pool is great. It wasn't really suitable for us as a couple, as we prefer peace and quiet. The campsite is fantastic for children; they'll have a blast. It's very well organized. Still, it was lovely.

We spent two weeks at this campsite during the May 2025 holiday. We had our own caravan and pitched on a site with private sanitary facilities. Everything was great: a lovely spot, good sanitary facilities, and the campsite itself was also fantastic. We always try to visit a different campsite and never the same one twice. But this campsite is perfect for the May holiday. The swimming pool is very nice and clean. Our three daughters loved the entertainment, including our daughters aged 11 and 12. They spent a whole day rehearsing for a show that was performed in the evening. The surrounding area is fantastic; everything is close by. You can easily drive to Saint-Raphaël and Frejus. The beach is pleasant during the May holiday, and parking is available nearby. Monaco and Cannes are easily accessible, and the back roads are beautiful. We will definitely be back, and we're already thinking about the May 2026 holiday.

Perfect. The staff were very attentive. Special mention to the supermarket manager, who was always smiling and kind.

We found excrement on the terrace upon arrival, a hornet's nest under the mobile home which was treated after several reminders, the pool door slams shut every time it is opened (several times per minute), making it noisy for the restaurant right next door and unpleasant when we are on the sun loungers, and some noisy holidaymakers late into the evening.
