Douce Quietude sur Saint-Raphael

Overall, the campsite is okay. There's plenty of greenery around each cottage, so everyone has a bit of privacy despite the proximity of the cottages. The restaurant is a bit small, and you need to book a table the day before. Washing machines cost 7 euros, and the grill is 8 euros for a 24-hour rental. Swimming trunks are required (swim shorts are not allowed). Flip-flops are not allowed in the pool. We were there before the season, and the pool was sometimes crowded, so in high season it can be even worse, with a shortage of available loungers. A major drawback is the one garbage can for dog waste on the entire campsite. The staff is friendly and helpful. We once had a wild boar on the terrace; it was a bit bigger than in the photos provided by the campsite.

This campsite is magnificent, our second year here and we're already planning a third for our next holiday! The entertainment team is fantastic, lively and the atmosphere is great. One small drawback: the pool floor is becoming dangerously slippery.

In 2025, we had a very spacious camping pitch for our tent here, 7.20 x 4.50 meters, with plenty of room left over. The campsite has 3 beautiful swimming pools with 2 slides for the kids. There is disco swimming on Saturdays and fun entertainment. We enjoyed this campsite so much that we are going back again this summer.

I feel like I need to change my review. The quality of the campsite has declined in recent years. Today we arrived at the bungalow and, as I usually do, I cleaned the floor for the first time. It was really dirty. I changed the water twice because it was black. I'm very sorry because it was an excellent campsite.

A ruined night on the 6th with my family (4). The waste sorting and overflowing bins are unbelievable; some people don't care at all, no respect for the service! I stayed in the residences. In 2026, it was clean (special mention for the housekeeping), and well-maintained. There are two swimming pools. One is open to everyone and is always packed... and another, quieter one is only accessible to those staying in the residences. The downside, regarding both pools, is the lack of parasols. It's as if the managers haven't grasped that we're in the South and that the sun is very strong... Not being able to enjoy the pool because there's no shade due to the severe shortage of parasols makes it impossible. The campsite restaurant is very average. But the site itself is very pleasant.

This is the first time I've been disappointed by a Sandaya campsite. We chose a two-shell mobile home, and we had a completely damaged sofa, a leaking shower under the bungalow, and sewage smells on the terrace... luckily we were only staying three nights. Apart from that, the facilities are nice, and the staff are very friendly.

Premium mobile home in full sun...so even with the air conditioning on full blast it wasn't enough to cool the main room...I didn't like the layout of the mobile home...too small for 6 people and the water park is too small compared to the number of visitors...disappointed.

We just had a fantastic holiday at Camping Sandaya Douce Quiétude in Saint-Raphaël. To put it simply: the overall experience was exceptional. What we loved: The atmosphere: The campsite lives up to its name incredibly well! The atmosphere is truly "douce quiétude," very zen, calm, and relaxing. It's the ideal environment to recharge, especially if you're traveling with young children. The facilities: The campsite has everything you need to fully justify its 5 stars. The swimming pool and water park are superb and delighted the whole family. The entertainment: A huge thank you for the activities dedicated to children. Offering such great entertainment even out of season is rare enough to be worth highlighting; it's a major plus! The only downside: Cleanliness upon arrival: The only area for improvement concerns our accommodation. The cleaning in our rental had clearly not been done (or at least not very thoroughly). We had to sweep and mop the floors ourselves before we could settle in comfortably. It's a bit of a shame for a property of this standard. In conclusion: Despite this minor hiccup on the first day, our overall impression remains excellent. It's a beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly equipped campsite. We wholeheartedly recommend it for a successful family holiday!
