Du Lancieu sur Metz

Nice place for a coffee and a chat with a friend (since it's empty, you can hear each other). I don't get the impression that many customers come here. Not a huge food selection; I think it's fine, but only for a drink and a chat.

A must-stop during your strolls in Metz! We stumbled upon this picturesque, timeless spot frequented by regulars, where the coffee is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the endives with ham prepared by the owner, a very friendly person who loves her city and shares great local tips with visitors like us. A wonderful experience to be repeated!

It's nice, but it feels a bit dated. The place is quite pretty. As for the food, it's not great either. It's good, yes, but the dishes are limited. We wanted to order two tartiflettes, and she told us there was only one left. The dishes are also microwaved. €4.50 for a drink is a bit steep, I think. But it was still good.
