The service is decent and the staff quite pleasant, in a calm setting. However, the food is overpriced for what it is. The quality is barely acceptable for this price point; it's not bad, it's alright, but it's not up to the standard expected for a simple lunch averaging €25-30 per person. This is a bistro that deserves to be frequented regularly. Why? The warm welcome makes you feel like you're the one they're waiting for – the decor puts you at ease with comfortable furniture – and the bistro cuisine is just the way we like it – classic French specialties that we appreciate wholeheartedly. Kudos to this couple who have just taken over as owners.

An unpretentious menu, good quality at a fair price. The owners have changed, but the new ones are just as welcoming. The atmosphere is still as friendly and relaxed.

We received a very warm welcome. Living in Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire, we discovered the Brasserie du Marché and were pleasantly surprised by the service and the homemade cuisine. Go there without hesitation; you won't be disappointed!
