A lovely spot in Cabourg. Admittedly, breakfast is a bit more expensive than average, but the quality of the food, the attentive service, and the refined setting justify the experience. An elegant place. Ultimately, it depends on what you're looking for to start your day. ;)

Still a must-visit in Cabourg, the tea room is always pleasant but I notice a certain laxity on the pastries which are no longer as neat as before in terms of presentation.

A very pretty pastry shop with a tempting window display. We were tempted by a Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) and a slice of chocolate cake. We thoroughly enjoyed them. Perhaps the service could be improved, as it lacked warmth.

A wonderful experience at Dupont with tea in Cabourg. We bought some brioches to go and received a very warm welcome. The saleswoman took the time to advise us with a smile, which was much appreciated. The products were of very good quality and perfectly met our expectations. We are happy to recommend this place!

We had a lovely time. The salmon puff pastry was fresh and delicious. The coffees and pastries were good. And above all, the staff were incredibly welcoming, especially Caroline, who was a sweetheart, very helpful and pleasant.

The flaky brioches are delicious. However, in such a high-end establishment, it's unacceptable to be received with such rudeness and without any consideration for your actual request. I asked for a lightly cooked brioche the day before yesterday, and I was given one that was far too well-done for my liking, without a word or a smile, and above all, without being given any other option. The same person was serving today, so I decided against buying any. Be careful to select your staff wisely, considering the reputation of your establishment and the prices you charge. I'm not a fan of Google reviews, but in this case, I'm outraged.

13/09/2026: Overall, the food was good and we enjoyed our meal. However, the service left much to be desired, particularly the wait time and the attitude of some of the servers. We were served by a young waiter who didn't seem to enjoy being there. He served us without a greeting or a smile, with a rather cold demeanor, and even slammed the cutlery down on the table. This kind of behavior unfortunately creates a bad impression, even when the food is good. Fortunately, the lady with the red glasses was there to bring a real dose of cheer. She was smiling, helpful, and pleasant with the customers, despite the somewhat tense atmosphere. Thank you to her for her warm welcome! It's a shame, then, because the food is quite good, but the service definitely needs improvement.
02/09/2026: Visited for the first time a year ago, and again now. Staff still friendly, fast and correct service. Nice location and terrace.

26/09/2026: Terrace with a pleasant sea view and decent service, though friendliness varied depending on the staff member; perhaps there were a few tense moments? The oysters were good, served with shallots and lemon. The shrimp were nice and plump. The fries were quite good; no sauce was offered, but we asked for some! As for the mussels, they were a bit pale in color, and many remained closed. Some had a slightly questionable texture, but overall the quality was okay, nothing special. For €19, using Isigny cream would be appreciated. The carpaccio is served with pesto and Parmesan shavings. However, a piece of chicken fell on mine, I think by mistake, which isn't very reassuring regarding potential cross-contamination. 🤷‍♀️ A classic seaside restaurant; we had a pleasant time.
