Excellent value for money, good food, impeccable service.

For lunch, a good menu with a decent selection at reasonable prices, and the service was good. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was up to par. Happy with it for a Sunday in July.

Dinner tonight: 3 adults and 5 children We were warmly welcomed at first; the waitress even arranged an extra table for our comfort. There was a bit of a wait, but that's understandable in high season with good weather. When it came time to order, there were a lot of us, including children who were indecisive and kept changing their minds, which tended to make the waitress a little tense. I tried to lighten the mood, she laughed, I laughed, and we all laughed—phew! We were served: sorry, but there were no more ice cubes during a heatwave—not great! I imagine that for a large establishment like this, they plan ahead when it's hot and it's a summer Sunday… The service for the main course was a bit slow, but okay, we were on the weekend after all. I had to ask for bread three times. I also had to ask for the sauces. For my part, I ordered mussels with Bleu d'Auvergne sauce. I searched for the Auvergne cheese for ages, and when I politely pointed it out, they brought me a jar of sauce to add. Great! For dessert, the same thing happened again with the children's choices. Oops, we're annoying them again! The meal was very good, the mussels were excellent, even the children loved them! Then came the bill. Yes, we wanted to pay for what each of us ordered. Since one of the adults didn't have children, she wasn't going to split the bill and pay for our children; it was our choice. And then the drama began! The waitress told us, rather rudely, that it would be a pain to calculate the bill for each of the three adults if we each paid for what we consumed. And upon closer inspection, there were extra charges here and there. She had included a crepe and mussels in the set menu; in short, we didn't understand what we were going to pay for. We asked for details, but she didn't have time. She told us to do the calculations and let her know when it was okay! The owner (I imagine) intervened in a condescending and very moralizing tone. A pointless intervention, I suppose. By the way, a note to this gentleman: he should manage his ice supply before being unpleasant to his customers. Service, it seems to me, ranges from the moment you greet someone to the moment they're overwhelmed at the checkout, whether they're busy or not! End of service or not! Being in the retail industry myself, I would never dare speak like that to my customers, whether they're passing through or not! So, mixed feelings about this establishment. The quality of the products is excellent, they're good, and there's a good selection… But there are a lot of extra charges on the bill and the friendliness needs serious improvement!

A bit mediocre; I ordered a Vittel mint water that arrived already opened (is it really Vittel?). The inside, and especially the toilets, were very dirty.

Dinner in Cabourg, why not try Le Central? The menu appealed to us, there were still tables available, so we went in. Friendly service, good selection. We ordered several set menus, and all the dishes were fine. For example: ham and melon with a small salad, moules a la Normande (with Camembert sauce) and fries, and for dessert, panna cotta with a fruit coulis. Everything was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. The set menu cost around €28, which was absolutely reasonable. We thought the Aperol Spritz was a bit pricey at €12 per glass. However, it was very good. Overall, a lovely evening and highly recommended.

A lovely place to enjoy good cocktails, it's a shame the waitress wasn't very courteous and the prices were very high, no doubt due to its location in a very touristy area.

This well-located restaurant deserves better than its rating. The bistro-style cuisine is good quality. The servers are very friendly and cheerful. A great place to remember for those on a budget.
