Not exceptional, but good, expensive for what it is. A children's menu at €15 for frozen fries...

We were also very surprised by this low rating compared to the welcome, friendliness, speed, and quality of the meal. A very good place that we highly recommend!

I'm very surprised to see that this wonderful restaurant only has a low average rating... it was very good (a bit pricey though... 😅). I thoroughly enjoyed the Burrata Salad and the Mixed Platter. One of the highlights was the misting fans; they felt so good! The service was very welcoming and friendly. I recommend it 😺

We had a very good meal. The staff were extremely attentive. There was no wait despite the crowd. I'm very surprised by the low overall rating. Our meals were generous and delicious. Thank you to the team!

A very good experience at the restaurant En bas d'la Rue! What we loved: The exterior: A large and really pleasant terrace, equipped with a misting system, perfect for cooling off during the day. The service: A top-notch welcome, with particularly quick and competent staff despite the crowds. The food: Very good cuisine at very reasonable prices. A little tip: avoid arriving too late if you want to get a table easily, given how busy it gets!

We were surprised by the negative reviews because, despite the crowds, we received a very warm welcome on the terrace. The servers were all friendly and efficient despite the busy service. The food was very good.

The food and service were very good. The side dishes could have been a bit more generous. But overall, it was very good.

Restaurant du Château, France

05/07/2026: A bit threadbare but nice enough rooms, with the air conditioning thankfully working! Receptionist friendly and helpful. Good, large swimming pool with good quality towels provided. A nice 30 minute uphill walk from the village.
15/06/2026: The rooms are a bit dated but clean. The bathroom could use a refresh as there's mold on the ceiling. The pool, however, is lovely and the staff are friendly.

Les Jardins de la Louve

04/09/2026: Don't rely on reviews; everyone has their own experience. The waitress and owner are clearly very down-to-earth, which I personally love. The food is very good, the foie gras and cassoulet are superb (although having cassoulet in this weather isn't exactly a stroke of genius). A very pleasant restaurant.
17/08/2026: Excellent regional salad: duck rillettes, foie gras, gizzards, walnuts, and salad greens 🥗 However, the Rocamadour salad is expensive: 18 euros for salad 🥗, walnuts, and two Rocamadour cheeses
