Escale Thaï restaurant in Lille is a wonderful discovery for lovers of Thai cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the Pad Thai with shrimp, which was perfectly balanced and very flavorful. The decor, with its bamboo lamps and Asian touches, creates a truly exotic atmosphere. A big thank you to Som, our server, for her warm welcome and helpful advice on the dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We arrived without a reservation and received a very warm welcome. The space is very clean (as are the restrooms). The background music should be included in the contract. There was a slight draft. The food was very good, and the service was attentive. We enjoyed our meal, so let's turn off the camera!

18/05/2026: I hadn't been back for over 10 years (when I was a student in Lille): nothing has changed, and that's a good thing! The welcome is still warm and attentive, the decor a little dated but full of character, and the menu still enticing. We tried the duck with Thai basil and the Khao Yam: flawless, a real culinary journey. Go without hesitation :)

05/04/2026: We went on a Saturday night. The restaurant was empty. Nevertheless, we ordered some very good starters and two main courses: beef in Thai sauce and chicken noodles. Honestly, it was very, very good; the food was impeccable.
29/03/2026: Delicious food and very friendly service. It is simply but functionally furnished. Definitely recommended for affordable, tasty Thai food.
