A Thai restaurant with very flavorful and well-seasoned dishes. The portions are rather average, but the quality and taste are excellent. The flavors are a pleasure to discover. It's best to book in advance, as the restaurant is often busy. However, the service can be quite slow, especially during peak hours, so a little patience is required. Despite this, the experience remains positive thanks to the quality of the food.

I hadn't been back for over 10 years (when I was a student in Lille): nothing has changed, and that's a good thing! The welcome is still warm and attentive, the decor a little dated but full of character, and the menu still enticing. We tried the duck with Thai basil and the Khao Yam: flawless, a real culinary journey. Go without hesitation :)

Le Marché Flottant restaurant in Lille is a wonderful discovery for Thai food lovers. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp pad thai, which was perfectly balanced and very flavorful. The decor truly evokes the floating markets of Thailand, creating a truly exotic atmosphere. Som, the waitress, was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. A welcoming place where the food is excellent. I will definitely return.

29/06/2026: Flawless. We had lunch at this excellent restaurant two days ago, and the quality of the food remains impeccable. The cocktails are delicious and refreshing. The main courses are as flavorful as they are generous. Special mention goes to our waitress, who was incredibly kind and professional. Working in a restaurant during a heatwave is no easy feat, yet the quality of service didn't suffer at all. We will gladly return.

29/07/2026: Two of us, Tuesday, July 28th, in the evening. We were warmly welcomed, starting with a smile that was truly delightful. The waitress was efficient and attentive. She checked on us frequently and accommodated our small requests (a little more Thai basil here and a little more rice there). The food: a real treat. I highly recommend the red curry beef. The meat was cooked perfectly and was incredibly tender. The rice was very fragrant and could have been eaten on its own. It was also cooked to perfection. (I'm a butcher by trade and a big eater and rice lover.) The homemade dessert... Homemade coconut sorbet with coconut whipped cream and homemade tamarind jam blew me away. You just have to go. Enjoy!
22/07/2026: The thai food was great. Best I have ever had. I would recommend this place to everyone. (In Amsterdam I eat a lot of thai food) The restaurant is very cosy and looks nice.
