A regular customer for the past three years, I've noticed a decline in the quality of the establishment this year, particularly in the service. The dishes were swimming in sauce, and despite the two servers pointing it out, there was no solution, not even a gesture of goodwill. A complimentary coffee wouldn't have been amiss. The service was slow and unfortunately not very responsive. It's a shame. The food is still excellent, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Excellent atmosphere, top-notch staff

We visited Eugène Bain de Mer several times during the first two weeks of August, and it was always a pleasure to return! What we particularly appreciate is, first and foremost, the quality of the welcome and the genuine focus on customer service. The team is friendly, available, and attentive, which truly contributes to a wonderful experience. A special mention goes to Maël, the beach attendant, who is as friendly as he is energetic! Always smiling, attentive, responsive, and concerned that everything runs smoothly. A real personality who greatly contributes to the quality of the beach experience. Well done to him! The sun lounger area is also very pleasant: it's large, well-organized, and spaced out enough so that you can truly enjoy your day without feeling crowded. You feel comfortable there, in a relaxed atmosphere, with the added bonus of being directly facing the sea. As for the restaurant, we were never disappointed. Over our various visits, we've had the pleasure of sampling several dishes: a diverse cuisine, quality ingredients, beautifully presented plates, and above all, a wealth of flavors. It's wonderful to find such high-quality dining at a beachside establishment. We also appreciate the consistency of everything: the welcome, the service, the beach, and the food. It's precisely because we've visited several times that we can truly highlight this. Each time, we find that same friendly and relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to linger. There's no deafening background music either... so it's very peaceful. In short, a fantastic spot in Ayguade to enjoy the beach, have lunch, and spend a wonderful day with your toes in the sand. We happily return and will continue to do so. And a huge thank you again to Maël for his kindness, energy, and professionalism!

Top-notch restaurant. The dishes are very generous and absolutely delicious. A big bravo to the chefs! The wait staff is incredibly friendly. Restaurant with a family atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant 1000%! Looking forward to coming back next year.
