A very pleasant place with friendly and highly professional staff. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented. A restaurant definitely worth a visit, especially considering the splendid view.

First experience... birthday meal: Disappointed, even though the restaurant is very well-known and often frequented by my guests. The aperitif and tapas were good, the starter was good too: the foie gras was good! The service was friendly and pleasant... BUT... one drawback: the dish of the day: lemon sole and mixed vegetables: full of bones! (Well, you might say, it's fish... normal!) The vegetables were completely undercooked, hard, and tasteless, left on the plate with the bones... that's not the point! The dessert was enjoyable. The very friendly waiter who took our feedback assured us that it would be passed on to the kitchen... but too late for us, alas!!! Too bad it wasn't the right day...!!! Probably... personally, I'll go somewhere else to celebrate my birthday in the future!

12/03/2026: A lovely time spent with our family and four-legged friends, smiling servers, and dishes that, to quote the server, "are as beautiful as they are delicious." I highly recommend it.
12/03/2026: Passing through the area with my family, we discovered this superb restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic and very pleasant, the dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, and the colorful cocktails delighted our taste buds. A major plus: our four-legged friends are welcome.

01/01/2026: Lopez!!! The best ice cream parlor in ALL of Royan!! We already knew that!!! And their ice cream logs are to die for!! That was a real discovery. We devoured the Sicilian log!
30/12/2025: We ordered two Yule logs for four people for Christmas, and what a surprise when we took one of them out of its packaging—it was broken! I checked to make sure I hadn't broken it during transport, but no, the broken piece wasn't even in the box. When we politely pointed it out to the saleswoman today, she didn't believe us until she saw the photo, and the only thing she could say was, "But we check them..." Apparently not that often. I'm not saying mistakes can happen, especially during the Christmas season when there are a lot of orders, but the broken piece not being in the box means it was broken as soon as it was packaged in the kitchen... And to top it all off, in addition to being condescending, the saleswoman didn't even apologize, which, given the price of the log (€21.90 for the four-person version, remember), would be the bare minimum... Lopez is a Royan institution, but it's a shame that some employees don't live up to the brand's standards. the company and this damages its image.
