The service was very good, but the food wasn't very good and the fries were frozen.

I don't know Calais, I went there by chance. Lovely all-wood pub, friendly staff. The best Maroilles burger I've ever had, and I eat in restaurants every day (not always burgers 😂). I recommend it.

I come here quite regularly; it's true that I've always eaten well, the atmosphere is great whether it's in the restaurant or the bar, and I've always received excellent service.
Last night in particular, a large group of us came for a birthday celebration, and we were more than well received. A big thank you to the team who did a fantastic job. I highly recommend it!

First time dining there last night with friends. Excellent food, special mention for the homemade lasagna, attentive staff, and a great atmosphere. The booths with banquettes are fantastic.

Feb26- visited many times over the years. It seems to have changed hands. It's lighter /brighter and youngsters running it? Used to be two fellas. The service is passable (the waiter was friendly, the waitress perfunctory). Food is great value and always tastes fresh and cooked to order. Pizza is ace and you can make any burger vegetarian which is fab.
