Hello, Charming place, I came when it was very quiet. This pub reminded me of two other pubs I've experienced in Scotland (Selkirk) and another in the Netherlands (on an Anglo-Dutch peninsula, also known as Marken). Affordable prices, there's something for everyone, but check the menu beforehand.

I don't know Calais, I went there by chance. Lovely all-wood pub, friendly staff. The best Maroilles burger I've ever had, and I eat in restaurants every day (not always burgers 😂). I recommend it.

A pleasant little lunch break. Nice pub atmosphere. The waitress offered us samples before we chose our beer. 🍺🤗🥳 The portions were generous.

03/08/2026: Warm welcome, friendly staff who even help with information about the place, homemade food, fast service. I recommend it.
02/08/2026: We were very satisfied with the food. Although our French is rather poor, all the staff went to great lengths to communicate with us and were very friendly. Our dog was also welcome.
