A wonderful discovery by chance! The setting and decor are charming, and the owner is very welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised. We loved the set menu with the gourmet coffee. Our friends from Normandy discovered the famous Welsh rarebit of our region and have wonderful memories of it. Thank you for this delightful experience; we will gladly return. Highly recommended! 💕

Excellent food! The mussels marinière and cream sauce are delicious! The Welsh rarebit is very good, and the kids also enjoyed their chicken supreme and pan-seared steak tartare. I highly recommend it. David continues to delight diners after his time at Le Régent in Calais Nord.

We were very satisfied with the food. Although our French is rather poor, all the staff went to great lengths to communicate with us and were very friendly. Our dog was also welcome.

Cafe de la Tour

27/09/2026: We arrived unexpectedly, without a reservation, and since it was a bit too cold for my wife to sit on the terrace, the owner kindly gave us his table, even though they were all reserved 🙏. What a lovely gesture for a wedding anniversary! Thank you to all the staff for their kindness too 🤩🤩. As for our veal escalope à la normande, it was like something my grandmother would make—a generous portion, with a creamy mushroom sauce that was simply divine (well, I admit I love good food). It's best to make a reservation, as they'll be able to serve you better, if it's even possible to do better 🥰
17/09/2026: Great value, some unusual enjoyable dishes on menu.
