The quality and diversity of the breads are simply incredible, a real treat! However, it is a shame that the shop does not reflect the image of a real baker. From the outside, you can't even guess that it is open: you really have to lean against the window to understand what it is. This is unfortunate, because people who don't know the place may pass by without even noticing it.

It could be that this bakery, where the customers, struggling in their allocated two square meters, suffocate, and then are reprimanded by the baker because they are foreign or illiterate and do not understand the composition of the breads even though they is scribbled there on small slates, the worst in Aix-en-Provence. In the photo we see people queuing to verify my statements.

I taste-tested a few bakeries when staying in the town for a few days, but this one was by far my favorite: the bread (baguette and beyond) was to die for.

19/01/2025: Very warm welcome, very good food, perfect service and the friendliness of the owners is really great. An establishment to know, I highly recommend.
13/10/2024: A cuisine less tasty and less refined than before, I hope it’s just a slump. It was a safe bet a few years ago even if the prices were not the lowest.

17/12/2024: 2024: still just as good a very fine tasting coffee log. Not heavy. the rolled cake deserves to be neutral, like a rolled cake, it must be a joconde biscuit, the almonds cut the taste of coffee a little. It’s very personal, I think it’s a shame, but it’s still very good. 2020Christmas log with coffee mousseline butter cream: a delight, lightness and above all incredible finesse! Never eaten such a good log... you can really smell the coffee which is dosed just right, excellent! I'll have to go back and order another one soon to test the Grand THANKS
17/12/2024: Top-notch pastry, choice, taste, varieties of cakes and other pleasures. On the other hand, disappointed 😞 by the breakfast options, expensive and very very long service. I will return for the pastry
