FERME AUBERGE DU KREUTZWEG sur Le Hohwald

I stayed with a childhood friend who didn't know the place from September 9 to September 14. The inn is very well located and the site allows for beautiful hiking or exploring by car, such as Saint Odile very close. The rooms and apartments were very clean and all were functional and delighted with the setting and the tranquility. We eat very well at the inn and the owner is very welcoming as are the staff. Great value for money. I will come back very quickly and recommend.

Découvert par hasard lors d’une balade à moto je m’y suis arrêté à midi, en semaine. Pas trop de monde, cadre strict et décoration standard, ça manque un peu de personnalité. Les menus sont à conseiller. Bien servis et prix raisonnables. Le service est correct. Bémol à la table voisine. Après avoir commandé une bouteille de vin blanc la serveuse arrive avec 2 pichets. Elle explique que c’est plus joli . Impossible de connaître le producteur et le millésime ni quand la bouteille a été ouverte. Les vignobles sont à 15 kms à la ronde. Inadmissible ! Les clients ne reviendront plus !

Let's start with the positives. The dishes were very good and good value for money, and the waitresses were very friendly and smiling. However, I found that the tables were much too small and close together, which was not great for comfort. And let's not talk about the toilets which are really difficult to access even for an able-bodied, young and sober person. Plus, if you don't like meat and cheese, you're going to have a hard time finding a dish that suits your taste. But in this case, you should not go to a farm inn.

Hiking today, what a wonderful discovery, the terrines a taste pleasure and what can we say about the duck breast, a killer.

Eating at this inn is an unforgettable experience. We come back regularly.

We had an excellent time sharing with family and all 7 of us had a great time. The food is tasty, the service fast and friendly. We will come back and will not fail to let those around us know how delighted we were.
