There were three of us, and we had a wonderful meal, ordering different dishes (tartiflette, fir bark—delicious!—and pasta with blue cheese). We thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were very friendly, and the decor and atmosphere were typical of the mountains; we felt right at home! A must-try, and we'll definitely be back!

We just left this restaurant with a feeling of having eaten well, received a warm welcome, and the decor is superb, all in wood. I recommend it to all visitors to Villard de Lans who want a very good restaurant that combines quality and price.

A warm welcome, a dynamic team who love what they do, making for a pleasant experience. A varied menu that truly represents the region, and several excellent homemade recipes. I highly recommend it, even for groups.

A lovely, typical, and welcoming dining room. We had the Duo menu, which was excellent and very generous, a nice change from the usual fare. The servers were friendly, smiling, and professional. I highly recommend it.

The local specialty was very good. The terrace at the back of the restaurant allowed us to have lunch with our dog without disturbing others. Smoking is prohibited on the terrace for everyone's comfort.

The dishes are delicious, expertly prepared, and made with care. The service is pleasant and the atmosphere is friendly. A wonderful discovery; I highly recommend it! The owners are lovely.

02/04/2026: Looking for a 4-day solo getaway without a car at the end of March, I found the perfect hotel: - very well located: all shops, cinema, and bus station are less than a 5-minute walk away; hiking trails start from a 10-minute walk. - half-board or full-board options available (perfect after hiking); - simple hotel and rooms (hence the attractive price) but it has everything you need; - the best part: attentive owners and a friendly, family atmosphere
