A small bakery near my house with a good selection. I was craving something flaky, so I tried a pastry I hadn't had before. The surface was nice and crispy, almost like a biscuit, with a softer, more indulgent interior. I really enjoyed the contrast in textures. And the inside was generously filled, with pronounced almond and chocolate flavors.

09/08/2026: A rather mixed review. The service was adequate but not particularly warm. There were two of us, and the dishes were quite disappointing: a small portion of salad and a rather uninspired presentation. The duck legs were quite dry, and the fries were barely lukewarm, as was the duck itself. We paid around €50 for two people, including a beer and a glass of wine. For a quick bite while passing through, it's acceptable, but nothing more. We were expecting a bit better.

03/09/2026: So, what can I say! Personally, I didn't know this establishment and... what a surprise! A REAL TREAT!! Simple, unpretentious, and delicious cuisine. A very respectful and friendly welcome and service from all the staff, an unpretentious yet very convivial atmosphere... in short, a place just the way I like them: simple and welcoming! So, for a €17 set menu, you won't be disappointed; I opted for a Bigourdane salad with homemade foie gras toast (it's worth mentioning!), followed by a rare duck breast cooked on the grill with a generous portion of homemade fries, and to finish, for a small extra charge, I chose an excellent crème brûlée for dessert. There you have it! A simple, friendly, and welcoming place to dine as a couple or in a group: la DOLCE VITA, certainly not in Venice or Italy, but right here in Tarbes.
