We received a warm welcome and enjoyed a good meal, but I must admit the decor is a bit dated. The service was quick, the food was excellent, very generous, beautifully presented, and above all, the flavors were truly remarkable in each dish. A must for lovers of good, hearty meals, whether with family, friends, or even as a couple.

The food was well presented and very tasty. The portions were very large. We had crudités to start. There was an excellent selection. Followed by pork ribs which were beautifully cooked. There were enough to feed the whole restaurant!
Very good service and reasonable price.

Finally, a proper Winstub worthy of the name! Delicious traditional dishes, quality and expertise. Impeccable service. A fantastic spot in Strasbourg not to be missed if you want to eat a good sauerkraut!

We had lunch on the terrace on June 5, 2026.
Peaceful, like being in the countryside.
The ham with shallot cream sauce was excellent.
We had the Strasbourg salad (cervelas sausage, sliced cheese, egg and tomatoes, mixed greens).
The service was impeccable.
A slightly pricey but high-quality restaurant.

A restaurant outside the tourist area where we saw only locals. It's a traditional tavern-style place with Alsatian decor and dishes.
Highly recommended are the foie gras terrine, the pork shank, and the Alsatian dumplings, paired with the house wine. Very reasonable prices.

A winstub with a terrace set back from the street, serving many authentic Alsatian specialties. The staff is pleasant and smiling.
The vol-au-vent was excellent, as were the perfectly crispy spaetzle that went so well with it, and the sauce was delicious.
Better than at the old establishment!
A little disappointed by the grumbeerkiechle (part of the salmon Big Mac), one of which was really overcooked, and the pitcher of white wine wasn't chilled...
But the baba au kirsch (very generously served) made up for everything!
We will return to this friendly restaurant.
