The waitresses were very nice, but we waited an hour (no joke) even though the restaurant wasn't particularly crowded. The food itself wasn't anything special.

As soon as we arrived in Menton, this was the first place we tried for a quick lunch: the typical French crêpe ☺️ they offer both savory and sweet options, and they use mainly buckwheat flour. I tried the classic one with cooked ham and Edam cheese, which was delicious and filling, and the spectacular crêpe with lemon cream...what can I say? 😍 It's a small place, very nice to eat at the tables outside on the street. I recommend making a reservation.

06/09/2026: Everything you'd expect from a good burger and homemade fries. Reasonable prices and friendly service, all right by the sea. The restaurant staff are very friendly.

03/10/2026: 5 stars for the view and service. The risotto was undercooked. The spaghetti vongole was so-so, not the real recipe. The fries were frozen. Everything was edible, but cold and bland, which is a shame for a place like Barriere.
24/09/2026: Delicious food, excellent service, and everyone was super friendly. I really enjoyed it, I'll definitely be back! ☺️
