I went here with my wife for lunch. I had a salmon biscuit and she had a cheese and avocado biscuit. The presentation was beautiful, the flavors delicious. The staff was courteous and professional. Reservations recommended.

Others have called this place a gem. We agree. My wife and I are staying a full month in Menton and have been trying various places to eat. Everything from Mirazur (a world class restaurant) to street food. Flour De Sel does not purport to be haute cuisine but instead a solid local creperie. We have been here three times in the past three weeks, which is more frequently than we have been to any other place. The reason is that it is comfortable, the service is good and there is no significant language barrier, but most importantly, the crepes are delicious and we do not feel stuffed when we leave. My wife likes the shrimp crepe and I love the smoked salmon crepe. We have been splitting the wonderful Mentonaisse crepe for dessert. The atmosphere is definitely local and relaxed.

Overall, a simple restaurant, a bit cramped but quite busy… very popular (obviously) with the locals. The galettes were fresh and varied (we had Bretonne and Sospelloise) €16.00 and €17.50 respectively (reasonable). The 0.5-liter house wine was a bit acidic and, at €13.00, not exactly cheap. Friendly service (though not very quick). If you like galettes, you'll be very happy here.

Good food, nice presentation and not too expensive

The food was good, but the service left much to be desired. We had to ask for everything several times. We waited 40 minutes for our crepe. I also had to ask three times to pay.

A pleasant surprise. The galettes were delicious and the toppings generous. There's something for everyone, from classic/traditional to more original flavors. I would have liked to give it 4.5 stars, but unfortunately Maps doesn't allow it.
