The small bowls at the salad bar were full of water. Not wet, just a puddle at the bottom. I asked an employee for a napkin to wipe a bowl so I could serve myself. She brushed me off and left. I did the same. Perhaps it would be a good idea to review how customers are treated, not just the staff. And perhaps wiping the bowls after they come out of the dishwasher would be a good idea too.

So, regarding this particular restaurant—and I'm specifying this because each restaurant in the chain is different, unfortunately—the quality has improved since its renovation. The chain's main selling point is "unlimited vegetables," which is great, but season your vegetables! The green beans were tasteless (garlic, parsley, and butter...), the rice was the same, the Brussels sprouts were pureed... and leeks are easy and inexpensive (leek fondue!!). Your sauces aren't good, sorry... even the mustard isn't good, American mustard, yuck!! The braised endives and potatoes were good, though... Anyway, after that, a steak, a ribeye, an andouillette... no complaints, it's not rocket science! On the other hand, I ordered calf's liver, which was a shame because it was burnt and dry...disappointing. Your prepared dishes are very good, and your desserts and ice cream are excellent. The only real downside is your vegetables in general; despite the obvious effort you've made, they're not far off!
However, and this is a real shame for the chain, there are some Flunch restaurants that are definitely best avoided. I learned that the hard way and ended up in the emergency room. In fact, the one near Aix-en-Provence has closed down... But I don't hold a grudge against bad apples; there are bad apples in every industry! Best of luck, and see you soon. Berni

Not very good, but cheap. However, it's clearly struggling financially; it's packed from 11:30 am and the queue lasts until at least 3:30 pm. Two toilets aren't enough for 1000 people.

Friendly and smiling staff.
Varied menu. Great selection of hot dishes, both vegetable and starchy.
