We went on Sunday, August 24, 2026, at 8 PM. The all-you-can-eat mussels service was a disaster; there was no more cream or Roquefort sauce. There were few, if any, vegetables, and everything was on the floor. It wasn't clean, and there were too few staff. What's going on? I wanted a fruit tart, but they didn't have any. The service and cleanliness of the store urgently need improvement.

High-quality dishes, very well prepared and absolutely delicious. Don't hesitate, just like Flunch catering which we used, beautifully presented in the trays, exactly as described in the catalog, all our guests thoroughly enjoyed it.

We used to be fans of Flunch, but this restaurant feels outdated and doesn't offer the same experience as before. Around 2 PM, there was already very little food left and the salad bar was closed. The food is tasty and well-seasoned, though. The staff were otherwise friendly, but they were clearly clearing up and cleaning while many people were still eating. Google states that the restaurant is open all day.

Lunch break on a Monday at 12:45 PM during a long day of shopping and appointments. The initial selection was, as usual, quite extensive. We paid at the register 15 minutes after arriving. The meals (two children's menus) and a double crispy sandwich were served in 10 minutes; they were pretty good. The vegetable buffet was varied and also very good. The children's dessert (crepes) took a very long time to get; the single server must have been a beginner, as they waited 20 minutes at the counter... It's still a reliable choice in terms of value for money, it just needs a little fine-tuning to improve efficiency in certain areas (register and desserts).

16/03/2026: I've never been there, but I've always heard great things about it. I wanted to eat there for lunch today, but apparently it's been permanently closed since Saturday. What a shame!
07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Venette! Le Méga is a restaurant that pleasantly surprises. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in the ambiance of a Savoyard chalet, with plenty of wood, warm decor, and intimate spaces reminiscent of mountain inns. The atmosphere is friendly and truly refreshing, especially considering it's so close to Compiègne. The dining room is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with tables equally suited to group meals and quieter dinners. The menu offers generous and delicious French cuisine: beautiful cuts of meat, cheese specialties, regional dishes, and a few perfectly executed classics. You can tell the food is made for pleasure, simple yet satisfying. Special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at ease. A welcoming spot where you can have a wonderful time, and where you'll naturally want to return.
