16/03/2026: I've never been there, but I've always heard great things about it. I wanted to eat there for lunch today, but apparently it's been permanently closed since Saturday. What a shame!

07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Venette! Le Méga is a restaurant that pleasantly surprises. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in the ambiance of a Savoyard chalet, with plenty of wood, warm decor, and intimate spaces reminiscent of mountain inns. The atmosphere is friendly and truly refreshing, especially considering it's so close to Compiègne. The dining room is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with tables equally suited to group meals and quieter dinners. The menu offers generous and delicious French cuisine: beautiful cuts of meat, cheese specialties, regional dishes, and a few perfectly executed classics. You can tell the food is made for pleasure, simple yet satisfying. Special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at ease. A welcoming spot where you can have a wonderful time, and where you'll naturally want to return.

25/04/2026: We used Flunch for our daughter's christening and it was really great 👌 Now when we have guests, we like to order a platter for appetizers; order collection is super fast and the quality is excellent 👌

24/04/2026: First time eating at this restaurant after work, after 2 PM. I ordered a pasta dish with sauce and Gruyère cheese for my partner, and I ordered the same thing. They told me they were out of sauce. Even though I had the pot right in front of me and there was still enough for one more person, I didn't understand why they refused my order. So I ordered a rösti instead, which saved my meal. Luckily it was good, because I would have only given one star for the dish they refused me.
