Les meilleurs restaurants en Venette

16/03/2026: I've never been there, but I've always heard great things about it. I wanted to eat there for lunch today, but apparently it's been permanently closed since Saturday. What a shame!

07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery in Venette! Le Méga is a restaurant that pleasantly surprises. From the moment you step inside, you're immersed in the ambiance of a Savoyard chalet, with plenty of wood, warm decor, and intimate spaces reminiscent of mountain inns. The atmosphere is friendly and truly refreshing, especially considering it's so close to Compiègne. The dining room is very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with tables equally suited to group meals and quieter dinners. The menu offers generous and delicious French cuisine: beautiful cuts of meat, cheese specialties, regional dishes, and a few perfectly executed classics. You can tell the food is made for pleasure, simple yet satisfying. Special mention goes to the exceptionally friendly and attentive service. It's the kind of place where you quickly feel at ease. A welcoming spot where you can have a wonderful time, and where you'll naturally want to return.

30/09/2026: Still as good as ever and very affordable.

26/09/2026: So we ordered a strawberry Melba, we paid, and then they told us there were no strawberries. We ordered violet ice cream, and there were no violets either. They told us to take something else for the same price, but the joke is, they didn't have what we wanted from the menu; they offered us banana instead of strawberries. The service was appalling, the knives were dirty. It's really like a school cafeteria.

19/09/2026: The wait time was far too long, over 30 minutes, I've never seen anything like it for a McDonald's for 3 cars.
