Flunch Quimper sur Quimper

The checkout was quick, but the prices are very high for processed food, especially compared to the individual dishes on the buffet. We waited over 20 minutes for our meat. Two of us ordered the hamburger, and another person ordered paella: this was our first time dining together as a group... To give us a chance to try another dish, we ordered a quarter chicken for €9.90. I asked for breast meat. I was given a quarter chicken that was more bone than breast meat. They replaced it, but gave me a small piece instead. The chickens are already smaller than elsewhere, and they give you a tiny piece... I went to get some fries. They were put back on the buffet so quickly that they were barely cooked and completely soggy, see photo. Having eaten at another cafeteria in Quimper for roughly the same price, our choice is definitely made. It's a shame, because the staff is really friendly, and the dining room offers several seating options to suit your preferences and desired comfort level... P.S.: Pads under the chairs would be very useful; the noise throughout the meal was really annoying... Thank you...

I knew this cafeteria 35 years ago. Nothing's changed, it's still the same... the dishes aren't very clean. Otherwise, the food is good.

We had a wonderful lunch at Flunch in Quimper! 😊 The whole team was fantastic, from the moment we walked in until we left. The young woman at the till was incredibly kind, pleasant, and smiling from the moment we arrived. Then, the young woman who served us was lovely with my son, who really enjoyed her. The starters, main courses, and desserts were all delicious. The vegetables were also beautifully presented and plentiful, with a lovely touch of color coordination, making the buffet very appealing and appetizing. Thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome, kindness, and hard work. We will definitely be back.

I had lunch at Flunch today. A very warm welcome and a really friendly team. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. And I absolutely loved the new potatoes with herbs and garlic—they were truly delicious! A very pleasant lunch; I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to the whole team.

We had a pleasant lunch. Despite the crowd, the cashiers and waitresses were very friendly. I particularly remember the patience of one of them when faced with the ridiculous outbursts of two women in their sixties over trivial matters, just minutes apart. I'm not sure the women would have behaved like that in another type of restaurant, with an older man serving... I was this close to intervening. There were plenty of vegetables (there's more to life than fries!), and I thoroughly enjoyed the red cabbage. However, the mussels were a disappointment. They were dry, rubbery, and frankly quite unpleasant. We hate to waste food, so we left more than half our plates. I understand that this dish isn't easy to prepare and keep warm.

Despite the crowds at lunchtime, the entire team remained incredibly professional, friendly, and efficient. Honestly, hats off to them! 👏 The vegetable buffet was very generous, clean, and well-stocked: there was definitely enough, even with the high demand. The appetizer buffet was also beautifully presented; it was truly tempting! And despite the crowds, the dining area was clean and well-maintained, which was really appreciated. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. A special thank you to the young woman who served my meal, who was incredibly kind and smiling, as well as to the bearded young man who prepared my hamburger. Both were very pleasant and professional. It's great to see such a dedicated team despite the busy schedule.

It's more like a canteen than a restaurant! Too stressful... oppressive... a 15-minute queue at the till... the seating is too close together, which contributes to the feeling of confinement.

It was good, affordable for a family of 5, and the children were happy. There was a good selection. In short, it was simple and good.
