A truly authentic French brasserie! In Bourg-en-Bresse, you absolutely must stop at Le Français!
The quality-to-price ratio is excellent.
The service is impeccable, and the waiters are always incredibly attentive.
The dishes and desserts are delicious.
I highly recommend it!

A wonderful discovery! Everything was delicious, with homemade dishes that showed in both the flavors and the quality of the ingredients. The portions were very generous; you leave the restaurant feeling very full! The service was also impeccable: welcoming, attentive, and professional.
The only slight drawback was the heat in the restaurant, but we were in the middle of a heatwave, so it's perfectly understandable.
We'll be back to try the rest of the menu!

An amazing restaurant, excellent food at fairly reasonable prices, but the servers aren't always very friendly. French cuisine remains a reliable choice for a good family meal or for introducing foreigners to French food.

We were very disappointed with the food. The Vitello Tonnato we had was tasteless, and the roasted monkfish was flavorless and extremely plainly presented. The fries were very pale. However, the desserts were delicious, and the atmosphere and service were perfect.
