The fries are delicious and the staff is very well organized. There might be a bit of a wait during peak hours, but that's due to the restaurant's popularity, not a lack of organization. Keep up the good work.

It seems like the portions of fries are getting smaller and smaller lately. We don't get the same quantities as before, so the prices are increasing. It would also be nice to make bags available; other chip shops give them away with our purchases. Thank you. Back in October, the quantity of fries was tiny for an American. Still no bags and not very friendly. We felt like we weren't welcome. No smiles. 😃

Very well-run chip shop. You arrive, you order, you pay, and they give you a ticket with a number to call you when it's ready. Despite the crowds (and yes, it's good here 😋😋😋) The wait was more than reasonable. And finally, the star product in the north: Fries. A real treat here. Want to come make some with us in Normandy? ❤️ Good luck and keep delighting us.

Very clean chip shop, I've been going there since they opened and honestly never disappointed, excellent fries, not greasy, always a smile, the 3 sisters and the mother, well-oiled service. I feel sorry for the only man there with all his daughters "I'm joking of course". You can go there with your eyes closed.

15/07/2025: We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant for our son's baptism. The service is efficient, the staff is friendly and attentive, the food is high-quality, and the atmosphere is warm. We all had a wonderful time and will happily return.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty of the location and the quality of the service. Stéphane and his entire team demonstrated great professionalism, making this afternoon and evening unforgettable. Restaurant de l'Hippodrome

17/11/2025: We had a wonderful evening at the L’Hippodrome restaurant in Marcq-en-Barœul: a delicious meal, a warm welcome, top-notch service, and we were lucky enough to have a race on that day! Magnificent view of the tracks and the option to bet directly from the dining room. A truly great experience, we'll definitely be back! 😊
18/10/2025: Pleasant restaurant in the setting of the racecourse. Friendly service. As for the food, it was very average. The wild sea bream in a ballotine was too dry. The wild boar was super dry and unpleasant on the palate. We do better at home. It's very disappointing for a restaurant of this standing. Even at 137, it's simpler, it's cheaper, and the food is better. The dessert enhanced the quality of the meal. It's beautiful, but it's not good. Try to improve. See you soon.
