A cafe near the Garden of Luxemburg. The owner was extremely hospitable and friendly. There weren’t so many people when we were there. It a great place to take a break after a long walk! It’s is a home-style cafe so it offered basic drinks and pastries. We had our lunch earlier so we only ordered two cups of coffee. They were good and affordable (4,6 in total). I’d definitely go again and order the pastries next time.

Yes, I often go there for coffee and I've even had lunch there with friends. I completely agree with the glowing reviews. A truly authentic spot in the Montparnasse neighborhood with a smiling, helpful owner whose homemade pastries are perfect. (Christiane, the young customer who uses a walker and is often unwell these days)

07/07/2026: It’s hot and cramped and the service is brusque with not much warmth (given the temperature in the interior it’s not surprising) but the coffee is worth all that! A destination for a kilo of the Peruvian bio which is probably amongst the best I’ve had.
27/06/2026: A small, old-fashioned café in the Japanese and Korean restaurant district, it's kind of our headquarters with my colleagues. The best value for money in the area, a far cry from the trendy coffee shops where an espresso costs €4. Here, an espresso is €1 with a little chocolate popsicle—it's simply unbeatable! You can have your coffee there (but it's small inside 😅) or to go. There's sometimes a queue, but nothing too bothersome.

15/05/2026: Regulars at Duke's bar, we discovered Thursday jazz with Emmanuel and Amaury. A fantastic start to a Parisian evening, just the way we like them. And let's not forget Benjamin and Margaux, always perfect.
19/04/2026: This intimate and quiet setting is ideal for having a drink. It's spotless.
