Excellent restaurant near the tram. A large terrace ideal for enjoying the sun. The dishes are very good and plentiful, the value for money is good.

Came here for dinner with my partner 17th March. Mussels and frites, daube, lemon meringue and tiramisu, all great, excellent service, lovely wine too. Mercy beaucoup.

22/12/2023: A good option if you are nearby and want a quick, tasty and inexpensive meal. The food is tasty, but vegetables are missing. The coffee is delicious and served perfectly!

04/04/2024: 3/5 service: Staff is welcoming however they don’t even have English menu. 3/5 atmosphere. Cozy place but cleanliness could still be improved. 4/5 for food. Oh yes they have No2 Gillardeau oysters. Main courses is good. However the size of those mussels are ridiculously small. 5/5 for value of money.
29/03/2024: Wanted oysters for lunch and Le Gambetta has a good selection & competitively priced. Wife had the plat de jour (4 oysters, 3 shrimp & 3 sea snails) & I had the selection of 3, 3 & 2 (total of 8). different oysters. All were fresh & excellent. Wife's meal came with café gourmand & I had the lemon cheesecake. All were truly excellent. Not sure where they source their mayonaise, but was as good as we've had. We ate all they gave us on our frites. Very much looking forward to our next visit.
