Garçon! sur Paris

We found Garcon on our last night in Paris, The guys made us feel very welcome even without a reservation and our very basic French speaking skills. The meals were the best we've had in Paris. Outstanding!

An address to keep in your notebook! We came for dinner without a reservation (in the middle of August that said) and we were very kindly welcomed by the staff. Small pleasant terrace on Rue du Cherche-Midi, quite quiet in the evening. The menu is truly original, one of those where you want to taste everything and the hardest part is making a choice! Everything is then well executed: the cooking of the grilled octopus as a starter (just right), the seasoning of the Thai beef tartare (soft and delicately seasoned meat) or the texture of the melon panna cotta for dessert. Slight downside (to nitpick) on the cooking of the tuna in the dish, a little bit insufficient and the short wine list had many absentees. Dishes between €22 and €35, but the result is there and the portions are really generous. Well done !

My husband and I found this restaurant and its staff very friendly, the welcome warm. Everything was a la carte for dinner. The homemade terrine was delicious. We appreciated the finesse with which the sea bass and duck were prepared and presented. The wines recommended by Christophe, a real treat. For dessert, the verrine of rhubarb and fromage blanc was delectable. The dessert of the day, a rice dessert, was good but not at the same level. We will come back with great pleasure.

Sabato sera. Locale piccolo e molto affollato con tavoli mini e ultra-ravvicinati, come è tipico su Parigi. Ciononostante, il clima è disteso con un'atmosfera calda e personale accogliente e professionale. Preparazione e presentazione dei piatti perfetta. Spesa per il cibo corretta, anzi, sotto la media in questo quartiere molto elegante. Come al solito, attenzione alla ricarica su acqua e vino, anche se è possibile ordinare sia acqua in caraffa che vino sfuso (ottimo, ma non così economico), contenendo i costi. Unica sfumatura è che le posate non vengono cambiate tra una portata e l'altra. Per il resto, esperienza assolutamente positiva.
