Georges Cafe sur Montpellier

Excellent home cooking with fresh ingredients. The desserts are superb (the banoffee pie and the raspberry-pistachio tart). A wonderful discovery during our visit to Montpellier.

A peaceful haven in the heart of one of Montpellier's most famous streets. Service that flows seamlessly, with impeccable timing. A heartfelt thank you to Léa, Esther, and Emma for their attention to detail and genuine warmth. A moment suspended in a tiny slice of eternity.

I'd walked past this tea room/café several times without stopping, and what a mistake that was! Located in a courtyard right in the city center on Rue de la Loge, this establishment offers a relaxing moment in the shade and peaceful surroundings. Even though the terrace was full and it took a little while for a server to notice me, once I ordered, the coffee arrived quickly. They offer a wide selection of teas and coffees, and the menu is clear and easy to understand, even for people like me who aren't coffee experts! Excellent value for money in terms of quality, atmosphere, and price. The building's architecture is beautiful, and the interior is tastefully decorated. They also offer a wide selection of cakes, each one looking more delicious than the last! In short, don't hesitate to stop by if you're looking for a quiet place and enjoy discovering new coffee and tea flavors!

A discreet sign catches our eye, revealing a small, shaded courtyard behind a porch, home to this charming tea room. You have to be observant to spot it, but once inside, you won't be disappointed. We enjoyed sampling the menu, with a slight reservation about the chocolates served, although the raspberry-pistachio tart was a delightful memory. Second visit: We appreciated this delightful little break. The portions were perfectly balanced and seasoned. The value for money was excellent, with professional and pleasant service. For dessert, we opted for the crumble, which was remarkably good! We will gladly return.

Incredible!! Delicious food from appetizer to dessert 👍 Fresh ingredients, a vegetarian option (which is rare!), and other choices too. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the staff was very friendly. I'll gladly return on my next trip to Montpellier 🤗 A Lyonnaise 😊

I really like this place for lunch or an afternoon snack. What can I say? A limited menu, but always high quality, a very warm welcome, efficient service, and a lovely courtyard setting. A wide selection of unique drinks. An address you'd almost want to keep secret!

A very pleasant tea room, spacious and with a particularly extensive selection of teas. The pastries are delicious. Ideal. We had a wonderful time.
