Wonderful place by the square where we stayed. A bit quirky and lovely decor with old chairs, tables and cupboards. Good hearty sandwiches, reasonably priced. Nice young staff.

A fantastic spot in Avignon! We always have a wonderful time at L’Épicerie de Ginette. The place is warm, charming, and the atmosphere is very friendly. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and everything is truly excellent. Special mention goes to the warm welcome; the owner and his team are always smiling and attentive—it really makes a difference 😊 A simple, friendly, and unpretentious place, exactly the way we like them. We've been coming back for years and years with pleasure.

28/05/2026: I was looking for a restaurant in an alley near the Place de la Campanile in Avignon. I had originally planned to try a relaxed, French-style roadside dining and drinking experience, but this place felt very special. It was like stepping into a cave-like castle, and it had a good Google rating 👍. The food was absolutely amazing! Even though we couldn't speak the language, the owner was incredibly friendly and humorous, making it a wonderful evening in Avignon, France 🎑!
