The restaurant was packed for dinner, and the staff were professional and friendly, but the only downside was that the food was just average for the price.
The burrata cheese appetizer was okay (average). The pan-fried foie gras was delicious, but the toast underneath was too hard. The onions served with the foie gras were a bit too sour, but overall the flavor was good (generally recommended). The beef tenderloin with red wine sauce was very juicy, and the red wine sauce was fragrant, but the beef quality wasn't great; it had a lot of tendons, and we had to give up on a few bites because we couldn't chew anymore. (Average) The total bill for the two of us was 88 euros. For that price, I would have expected a higher standard.

Good food, and the duck is highly recommended—it was delicious. The terrace is spacious, although on very hot days a bit more air conditioning would be welcome. Overall, a good option for a meal!

The house with the most outdoor seating is located to the side of the basilica's entrance. The food was delicious, just like it had been more than 30 years ago on our honeymoon. We learned from the staff that the former owner is still active in the business.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here a few weeks ago (8 June) as we sat in a peaceful courtyard in front of the Basilica St. Pierre. Even though we did not have a reservation (and the place was nearly full), the owner graciously arranged a nice table for 2. Our dinners, from a small focused menu, were fresh, flavorful, thoughtfully presented, and of course...delicious. Paired with a nice bottle of chardonnay simply added to a delightful evening. Highly recommend having dinner at this gem. You will not be disappointed. Reservations recommended.

We ordered the grocer's platter, as well as the egg as a starter, accompanied by a delicious rosé. Everything was perfect, generous, and flavorful. A lovely waiter 😍 Thank you for this wonderful discovery; we'll be back on a Thursday 🫶🏻

A superb find. I highly recommend it.
Fresh with French people and tourists.
The food is excellent and beautifully presented, the setting is picturesque, and the servers are charming, friendly, and attentive. The swallows flying at the end of the evening added a lovely touch to our meal.
We found this restaurant at the last minute and had a wonderful evening.

Best location, best food, best service. Our group of seven had every plate and each house wine. Lovely and tasty. I especially enjoyed the duck. Find this place and go.
