Gite De Plan Mya sur Beaufort

A night in a tent with our young children, aged 8 to 10. A first experience to be repeated in a magnificent setting, to the sound of cowbells. The atmosphere at meals and breakfast was very pleasant.

A huge thank you to the whole team at Plan Mya. I stayed there with my son two days ago for a local via ferrata. I misunderstood the website when booking online. So, instead of having to sleep in the car in the lower parking lot, Pierre and the warden were incredibly understanding and helped us out, allowing us to camp at the refuge. Many thanks to them. The meal was fantastic (the coral lentil soup, the crozet with meat were divine, and the flan was perfect for dessert) and the atmosphere was great too, with very friendly guests. I'll definitely be back, but with the proper gear next time. Have a great end to the season, everyone, and keep up the good work, maintaining this wonderful refuge spirit. Christophe

Great care was taken with the food, where everything was fresh and homemade. Furthermore, all dietary requirements and restrictions were respected, and the chef delighted us with his cuisine.

A magnificent mountain refuge. Located a little higher up the road, it offers exceptional views of the Roc du Vent and its surroundings, as well as the perfect tranquility to escape the city. A restaurant ideal for a break after a hike at midday or in the afternoon, and an authentic mountain refuge in the evening. A place that embodies the spirit of the mountains with its rules, traditions, and a consistently friendly atmosphere that makes you want to stay more than one night! Finally, you won't be disappointed by the traditional decor and the delicious hot dishes prepared by the two chefs and their team, the impeccable service, and the delightful staff, always ready to welcome you, offer advice, and chat! Our tip: don't miss the snails, the blueberry tart, and the Beaufort cheese tart—you'll be in for a treat! In conclusion, a mountain stopover not to be missed.

We had a wonderful late afternoon and evening at the refuge. We opted for the bivouac option with dinner, bathroom facilities, and breakfast... Everything was perfect. The meals were 100% homemade, prepared right before our eyes during a pre-dinner drink and a board game... Quality, local ingredients, and generous portions were all top-notch! We wholeheartedly recommend this place and this shared experience in this little corner of paradise. The staff were fantastic... Simple, sincere, and genuine conversations... A warm and welcoming atmosphere, surrounded by people of all ages. Thank you to the Bochet family for preserving this place and your heritage.

A fantastic welcome at the Plan Mya refuge during a stage of the Tour du Beaufortain! Time seems to stand still here: the gîte is a former alpine chalet, you enter through the kitchen, then discover the dormitory and the common room. Everything flows together, the space is one, which is a little disconcerting at first, but you quickly get used to the cozy atmosphere. We slept in the outdoor tents and were thus able to enjoy a bit more privacy; the beds were very comfortable, and above all, what a beautiful view to wake up to!! The food is a pure delight, the picnics and breakfasts are excellent… in short, an address not to be missed if you are looking for authenticity and conviviality!!
