I ate a Milanese veal cutlet with vodka pasta; I highly recommend the vodka pasta and the Milanese veal.

A very good neighborhood Italian restaurant with a regular clientele. Elegant decor. Very pleasant staff. Good food, good ingredients, unpretentious.

Looking for an Italian restaurant in the 8th arrondissement for a business lunch, I stumbled upon Trattoria da Giusé. The setting is very pleasant, and there's a terrace… but not for us; we arrived too late to hope for a table. I ordered a crudité platter of raw artichokes with Parmesan and black truffle, creamy linguine with lemon and pecorino, perfectly al dente, and a classic Neapolitan Margherita, which we shared and which was quite well executed. Generous and successful cuisine, enhanced by Thomas's warm welcome and attentive service. One small drawback: the noise. The restaurant seemed to be hosting the annual back-to-school seminar for executives from the 8th arrondissement, all very enthusiastic about recounting their holidays and showing off their tans. A Tuesday at 12:40 PM. A 45-minute wait for our food: 3 pizzas + 1 pasta dish. The pizzas were very good and the tiramisu excellent. The 3-star rating is due to the 45-minute wait, the humid heat upstairs, and some of the prices that discouraged us: €49 for a truffle pizza / €26 for a salmon pizza. Although the lunch menu is a good deal at €25. I will return because the food is good.

With over 1,020 Italian restaurants in Paris, standing out isn’t easy—but this is definitely one that’s worth stopping by. No fuss, just excellent food and genuinely warm service. That’s what matters most. The flavors are spot on, proving that great taste never needs to be complicated. The restaurant belongs to former PSG midfielder Marco Verratti, adding a special touch for football fans. who knows? You might bump into Mbappé biting his pizza instead of kicking a football. 🤣

The pizzas are good, the dough is very pleasant to eat, however the topping is meager considering the rather high price, the cutting into slices should be more careful to avoid having to separate them by 'tearing' them
