GIUSÉ TRATTORIA sur Paris

We had lunch with Giusé and had an excellent pasta meal so we returned later in the week for dinner. We enjoyed everything about the experience. So much that we booked another reservation for our last night in Paris before our return to Wisconsin. Unfortunately just after we had made our dinner order and had just been served our aperitif's, we were shocked by what sounded like gunfire just outside the door. Turns out an electrical fire started next door and we were rushed out to safety. We feel terrible for the Giusé and excellent staff and hope it recovers quickly. We will definitely return our next time in Paris. (PS. the fire also took out the electricity at our hotel two blocks away...not a great last night in Paris but one we'll always remember.)

Excellent, delicious meal, great atmosphere

I couldn’t find a good option from the menu, so I chose chicken Parmesan. It was good. Very expensive though. A chicken Parmesan with no side and a Coke Zero cost me about 40€.

Excellent, once again. Pizza w grilled vegetables and whole mozzarella, fresh basil. Vodka Pasta, absolutely fabulous👍, pasta Al dente, sauce creamy and flavoured Millfeulle aubergine, unusual, but tasty French fries w truffle, great taste, but not "fried" enough, Carpaccio, huge plate, enough to share, 2/3,as a starter, too much, for one, as a main dish. The meat was the highest quality 👌 Tiramisu, of the house, fresh, Semifreddo with cherries🍒❣️ A perfect little Italian restaurant, well worth visiting, Book ahead, sit upstairs. Mille merci

For a €25 set menu (main course, drink, dessert), I ordered a Coke, which wasn't listed as an option. They told me it would be an extra charge, which I accepted. I ended up paying €31. That's not an extra charge, that's a full bill. Otherwise, the service was pleasant, the pizza was good, and the menu price was reasonable for the neighborhood and location.

A chic restaurant with lovely decor, and there was a DJ on Thursday night. The staff was energetic. Kudos to the bartender who single-handedly makes all the cocktails. The restaurant manager is Italian. The pizzas were good, and the tiramisu was also good, though served in small portions. Note that there's an upstairs area with a private room. Prices are typical of Paris, and the restaurant was noisy due to the large crowd on this public holiday.

A very nice place, the service is good, neither too slow nor too fast. The food is really very good. We had a very nice evening!
