Better service than at the beginning. The food is perfectly decent and the atmosphere welcoming. Only the background noise is unpleasant. I will definitely return, however.

We came for the set menu plus dessert, and it's a real shame there are only 10 daily specials per day, no more daily specials like on another occasion when I came with my colleagues. Very disappointing. The first waiter was just average, the second was very nice.

I went back to Saint-Étienne this week, making a quick stop at Le Globe... The brasserie has been completely renovated... The decor is fantastic and rivals that of its Lyon neighbors. The service is quick and attentive, and the atmosphere is equally appealing. The food offers excellent value for money, with a special mention for the foie gras. It's also rare to see homemade desserts in such a large establishment. We'll be back.

27/02/2026: Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The welcome and service were excellent.
29/01/2026: The birthday party was fantastic; my husband even got his own candle. The meal was superb, with perfectly seasoned dishes, a beautiful setting, and a very friendly and welcoming waitress. The instructors were attentive to both their students and the guests. They just need to add a small light at the entrance above the stairs, as it's quite dark when you leave, and it's easy to fall if you don't have your phone.
