A delightful little break after a walk up to the Grand Taureau. Originally from the region but now living abroad, I love returning to Larmont whenever I'm in the area. What a great idea it was to wait for this restaurant to open for our meal! Simple yet impeccable service, friendly waitresses, excellent food, and a pleasant terrace. We opted for a warm goat cheese salad and the Grand Taureau platter, followed by a raspberry pavlova and the minestrone (as a special), all accompanied by the suggested rosé from the Guillaume vineyard. Everything was perfect from start to finish; we'll be back, and you should too. Thank you! ☺️

I was disappointed by the rösti, which, once everything was removed (ham, Gruyère, and egg), had no flavor at all. I was expecting rösti fritters... but I'll be back because the salads are perfect, and the desserts are too, not to mention the very friendly staff.

Excellent service on the phone and a very attentive waitress. In the middle of a hike and with no way to get supplies, I contacted them at 1:55 pm to ask if I could come for lunch around 2:30 pm, giving me time to walk there. Their kitchen closes at 2 pm, but they told me, "Okay, the kitchen will prepare a nice salad for you and we'll save it!" I really appreciated it and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The Haut-Doubs salad was generous and the ham was delicious 👍🏼. I ordered a crêpe to go, and the manager prepared some bread and Comté cheese for me so I wouldn't have to look for anything else to eat later. I thought it was incredibly kind and wonderful of them to help me out like that. The place is spacious, very clean, and has a lovely terrace. A mountain brasserie that's not quite on the GTJ (Grande Traversée du Jura) but a very pleasant stop that allowed me to recharge my batteries. Thanks to the whole team and the manager.

The setting was lovely; we were able to have a drink outside, watch the sunset with a magnificent view, and then go back inside to enjoy a fondue. Zii's service was superb; she made our dinner perfect.

Great for an afternoon snack. Excellent crepes and coffee. Prices a bit high for sharing Mont d'Or cheese between two people.
