Excellent food and service, don't change a thing!

We had a wonderful time at this establishment. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal. The tuna was excellent and cooked to perfection! Thank you to Jérôme and Alexis for their cheerful disposition and impeccable service!

The request made during the reservation process was not taken into account. I had requested a birthday candle on the dessert, but upon arrival, our names weren't even asked, so it was obvious the request wasn't going to be honored.

The Grand Café lives up to all its promises: the traditional setting, the service in classic attire that is both efficient and attentive, and that wonderfully lively atmosphere. On the plate, it's expertly prepared, homemade, and incredibly comforting. Special mention goes to the seafood sauerkraut and the 12-hour confit beef chuck, which was incredibly tender. We finished on a high note with a delicious homemade brioche and a superb chocolate mousse, all accompanied by a very good Anjou wine. Generous portions, a well-oiled team, and a perfect experience. If you love fine French brasseries, you can go there without hesitation! One last point: we arrived early and got a table because there was a queue later on. And when we left, there was still a queue.

We were a group of 18 with the English lounge reserved. Given the lovely weather, we were offered the option of dining on the terrace, and the tables and place settings were quickly arranged. We had a negotiated menu. The only negative point was your refusal to serve mussels to a customer who was visiting France for the first time and wanted to try them. The reason given was that they were out of mussels, even though I saw you serving them to many other tables. I would have preferred you simply tell us that it wasn't possible. Otherwise, no complaints.
