Grand Hôtel Abbatiale Restaurant sur Benodet

Avoid the Bains de Mer hotel! While the Grand Hotel is pleasant, its annex, Les Bains de Mer, is a disaster. Thank you to the reception staff for allowing me to change rooms at the last minute.

A very pleasant hotel in a great location with an excellent breakfast

The hotel is very well located, with a very warm welcome and pleasant staff. The hotel and rooms were clean, although they are a bit dated and the renovation was somewhat lacking upon closer inspection (see photo). Unfortunately, our room overlooked the parking lot, but it was very quiet. The hotel is close to all the activities and restaurants along the Odet River. I highly recommend it.

The staff were exceptionally kind.

Large hotel, but a tiny 3m² bathroom where you have to take turns showering, impossible for two people to fit in, plus a small room under the eaves with a sewer smell. We spent two nights in an oven despite being provided with a fan. This is nothing like a 4-star hotel. Don't stop here.

The hotel is well located and the amenities are adequate. However, it's all a bit dated.
