24/02/2026: We stayed one night at the Hotel Kastel. Cyril at reception provided an excellent welcome, both on the phone and in person. This gentleman is there to take care of you, and it shows: extraordinary! :) The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The pleasure continued in the restaurant with Marc and Mustafa. A lovely duo, both very attentive and discreet. The meal met our expectations.

05/04/2026: A very ordinary restaurant with average food; as for desserts, there's not much choice; you're better off having ice cream or cake on the seafront.

06/04/2026: We booked a full-board stay through Weekendesk at this hotel advertised as a 4-star in Bénodet. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of this standard, and our stay was marred by several major inconveniences. Upon arrival, the assigned room did not match the description in our booking. After some discussion, we were finally offered a suitable room, but this situation should have been anticipated by the hotel. Dinner, advertised as a three-course menu, turned out to be a single €39 menu, with the restaurant attempting to deduct €26. This is a rather opaque and unacceptable practice for a hotel claiming to be 4-star. Finally, the electric car charging station mentioned in the listing was just a standard plug, incompatible with standard charging cables. A blatant lack of professionalism. In short, this hotel was oversold by Weekendesk, and the advertised standard does not reflect the actual quality of the services. It's a shame, because Bénodet deserves accommodations that live up to its reputation.

05/04/2026: The hotel was very good, the staff very welcoming, and the room and bathroom very clean. The sea view was very pleasant. The partner restaurant (Le Café Foutu) offered a very warm welcome and excellent food.

23/04/2026: It lacks air conditioning and the EDT room fragrance is too strong.

31/03/2026: Nothing like Armor Plage. Not a single drink offered, not even a glass of water, all afternoon. No interaction with customers. What a shame.

03/09/2025: Picked up two pizzas. We had to wait 25 minutes, but they were politely informed beforehand. The pizzas were deliciously freshly made, with thin crusts and excellent toppings (not too thick, not too thin).

09/08/2025: The owner is very friendly, helpful and kind. But the pizza itself has no toppings, cheese, or tomatoes. The dough is very thin, like pancakes. A real tourist trap. I don't recommend it at all, it's not delicious.
