06/05/2026: A truly wonderful experience. The restaurant itself is worth the trip. Once you've explored the restaurant, the service is impeccable and friendly, and what can I say about the food except that it's excellent? Don't change a thing! I highly recommend it; go without hesitation. The value for money is incredible for this region. We will be back.

12/06/2026: Lovely place to stay. Arrived by taxi from Quimper after ferry and trains from UK.
Lovely friendly staff.
Swim in the salty spa pool was great.
Dinner and breakfast superb.
We set off along the GR 34 fully rested!
Right by a beautiful beach.
04/06/2026: Hotel near the beach, 3 stars but it's a 13 🌟 + attentive staff who meet every possible expectation... Newspaper, umbrella 🌂, delicious breakfast, mint water 🍋, information and advice in the lobby, etc... Premium room with sea view, washing machine ☕, what more could you want? TV, bathtub, quiet space and more... a stay for 2, 5 minutes from the Thalasso spa.
Thank you to the entire Kastel team who rise to every challenge 😄

24/05/2026: Very nice hotel, attentive staff, very varied and excellent breakfasts, very good quality meals, very good cuisine.
19/05/2026: We stayed at the Armoric Hôtel in Bénodet for three days during a gathering of a group of cycling tourists in April 2026.
The quality of the hotel's services and the warm welcome from all the staff were remarkable and allowed us to have a very pleasant stay in a relaxing setting with a very convenient location.
Special mention goes to Stéphanie, the hotel's reception manager, for her kindness and professionalism.

24/08/2026: Okay, but not exceptional.
The setting is pleasant, and we had a good time as a family.
We ordered an octopus salad, a Caesar salad, a burger, and chicken and chips. The children's meals were generous and quite satisfying.
However, I found the €23 octopus salad rather disappointing for the price: lots of tomatoes and cucumber, but ultimately very little octopus. At that price, I expected a more generous portion and a focus on the main ingredient.
The staff was adequate but seemed a bit jaded at the end of the season, which unfortunately somewhat spoiled the experience.
In short: a nice setting, but the value for money and the service could be better. Not bad, but not a place that will leave a lasting impression.

16/08/2026: Very nice, lounge atmosphere. Good DJ, generous platter (enough for 2).
27/07/2026: It's nice to pay and wait 30 minutes for ice cubes, and the lack of a serving board is a real letdown. Also, the matcha not matching properly is a letdown.
The candies are incredibly unpleasant to eat.

13/09/2026: Excellent seafood and meat. Pleasant background music. Very friendly waiters and waitresses. One small drawback: the service was too slow.
05/09/2026: It's a bit like some restaurants, cafes, and brasseries that take advantage of the tourist flow.
It's not exactly good, but it's not exactly bad either.
It's just average.
The fries aren't good.
There isn't much choice, and it's a bit of a gamble depending on what you choose.
But when you're really hungry and have nothing else, well, you go there.
Average value for money.
It's the kind of place you only go to once, which is a shame.

02/06/2026: Avoid the Bains de Mer hotel! While the Grand Hotel is pleasant, its annex, Les Bains de Mer, is a disaster. Thank you to the reception staff for allowing me to change rooms at the last minute.

26/10/2025: A fairly well-located hotel with an attractive rate. But that doesn't justify the poor hygiene of the bathroom: significant mold around the shower grout and tiles, as well as the vents, a window that doesn't open... a musty smell, and in short, an unsanitary bathroom.
The room paint, a blue that dates back to 1970, the carpet is stained, and the smell of tobacco is very strong.
I had an asthma attack!
A rather generous breakfast could be had at another hotel on an adjacent street.
The photos on the hotel's website do not correspond at all to reality.
Avoid...
01/10/2025: The room has an 80s decor, light blue all the way to the ceiling, and a pink bathroom.
The bathroom has black grout and the water drains very slowly.
In fact, you shouldn't be too wide to use the shower because the opening is only 37cm wide...
We had to go through the main hotel to pick up and return the keys because there are no staff at the hotel.
Otherwise, the bedding was good, the pool looked nice, and there's free parking in front of the hotel on the street.
