Grand Hôtel Roi René sur Aix-En-Provence

Spent two nights here as part of a Viking tour. Was not impressed with the quality of the dinner meal but the breakfast was overwhelming The rooms are newly decorated quite contemporary and there are views of the surrounding streets. Takes some time to figure out the lighting and the major option is no lights on at bedtime. They had problems using my credit card that they blamed on the machine but the next morning the machine still would not accept my card that had been used during our entire trip. Luckily my wife had her card that worked.

A beautifully renovated hotel right in the city center, close to public transport, and a caring and attentive staff. I had a very pleasant stay.

A truly exceptional stay! I received a warm welcome upon arrival, with particularly thoughtful and much-appreciated touches in my room. I'm delighted I came: the hotel is well located, and everything is designed for guest comfort. The staff is incredibly kind, always available, and pleasant. From reception to the restaurant, housekeeping, management, and the rest of the team, you can feel a strong sense of community within this establishment. The rooms are beautifully renovated, with a quality far exceeding usual standards. It's a real pleasure to stay in a hotel like this. The common areas are also very well done, with a high-quality renovation and impeccable taste, exceeding my expectations. As for the restaurant, it offers a menu worthy of a top establishment, both in terms of quality and variety. A truly wonderful experience that I wholeheartedly recommend!

A very pleasant stay. I really loved the new decor, which was both warm and original. The staff were truly excellent, welcoming, friendly, helpful, and attentive. And what's more, the food was absolutely top-notch, which isn't always the case!

My first stay in Aix-en-Provence with MGallery was a wonderful discovery, showcasing the renovations of the grand Hôtel du Roi René. Its location is truly unique, situated in the historic center of Aix-en-Provence, just 3 minutes from the Cours Mirabeau. The public areas, bar, and most of the rooms have been transformed with warm, Provençal colors. The restaurant was under renovation, but a menu is available in the new bar. Special mention goes to the incredibly comfortable beds. The entire team was exceptionally kind and attentive. I highly recommend it for business trips, as was the case for me, or for leisure.

Excellent service from reception to the restaurant, not forgetting the cleaning staff. Everything was impeccably clean.
