Gurtlerhof offers excellent food. The snails as a starter are divine, and the pork cheeks as a main course are a real highlight. The crème brûlée is so delicious, superb!

A romantic lunch for two with my husband at this restaurant we always enjoy visiting. Today, we were served by Jonathan, who took excellent care of us from beginning to end.
My husband chose the sauerkraut, which was both delicious and generous. I enjoyed the pork cheek with spaetzle: a real treat, perfectly cooked.
We highly recommend this establishment for the quality of the food, the excellent service, and the absolutely magnificent setting. The décor under the vaulted ceilings is truly unique and adds a touch of charm to the experience. We will definitely be back!

I discovered this place by chance, and it was a wonderful find. The setting is warm and inviting, in a cellar, and the decor perfectly complements the theme. I enjoyed the pork knuckle au gratin with Munster cheese and pan-fried potatoes—a delight! And what a pleasant surprise to find the knuckle was already carved (easier and no mess!). For dessert, I had the iced kougelhopf. Many thanks also to the staff, who were pleasant and offered excellent advice.
I plan to return on the 22nd for my birthday and introduce this place to my sweetheart.

The decor is atmospheric. It's a unique feeling to eat in a cellar that's almost 1000 years old. But the food really isn't very good. The service is also slow.

We had a wonderful evening here with delicious food and excellent service. The restaurant was recommended by our tour guide, and we were very happy to follow his advice. The dishes were delicious and authentically Alsatian. We would gladly return.

Hello,
I have a major complaint about my choice of dish. I ordered a ham hock au gratin with Munster cheese. Thinking it would be a whole ham hock, it was served to me in a casserole dish in small pieces. I have some questions.
It's not very proper to serve a ham hock that isn't whole.
I'm very puzzled...
Having had the opportunity to eat a whole ham hock in another restaurant, I suspect they're playing with the quantity or something else?
