A very good experience at this restaurant; the tarte flambée is excellent and the setting is beautiful.
The waiter was very friendly, but there was a mistake with our drink order, and we had to wait a while for our coffee and ask for it. Nevertheless, I highly recommend this restaurant to tourists visiting Strasbourg.

Incredible discovery!!!
I thought I was going to a tourist trap... but clearly, far from it!
The portions are generous and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
We ordered pan-fried rösti and added a mixed salad. The pans were very filling. We had to skip dessert.
The prices are definitely reasonable. The quality is excellent.
We'll be back!
The setting is magnificent.

We had a lovely evening and tried Alsatian cuisine for the first time. We enjoyed many dishes, but not everything – the fact that meat is served on the bone or that alcohol is hidden in the dessert should be better disclosed – at the very latest, when a child orders it, this should be pointed out.
The vegetarian options are limited to tarte flambée or rösti, which must be explicitly ordered without bacon. Those who speak fluent French are fortunate; getting an international menu is a matter of luck.
Reservations are essential.

A very nice, friendly, and typical place. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The starters—salad with bacon and Tomme cheese, and mushroom puff pastry—were good and simple. Then the bakenhof (a type of Breton bread) were generous, piping hot, and very tasty—superb!
The Black Forest cake with macerated cherries was very good for dessert, and the flambéed apple and cinnamon tart was good and simple.
I recommend this typical restaurant.

There were four of us for Easter Monday (my birthday) and we were very well received! The meal was very generous, I must say. The waiter was pleasant, and I even got a little candle on my dessert. The atmosphere was cozy and enjoyable.

A very beautiful place with a cozy and unique atmosphere. It's only 3mins from the cathedral. We visited as a group of 6 people and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous.
We ordered the Forestière and the 3 Fromages from the poêlées de rösti, and both were incredibly tasty and satisfying.
The space itself is wonderful and really charming, and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming.
Highly recommended!
